“The conservationist’s most important task, if we are to save the earth, is to educate.”~Peter Scott, founder chairman of the World Wildlife Federation
With many years of experience in environmental education LEPS strives to provide meaningful opportunities for students and teachers to become engaged with and discover the natural world we are a part of. Our educators provide hands-on, interactive experiences that support the Prescribed Learning Outcomes of the BC Ministry of Education’s Integrated Resource Packages. With a wide variety of in-class and field based workshops as a part of our Environmental Education Program there is bound to be a chance for you to become involved. Workshops are offered to both public and private schools and can be adapted for preschools and special interest groups such as Guides and Scouts. For complete details, including program descriptions, take a look at our 2017/18 Environmental Education brochure.
