We're looking to Langley residents to get involved with our partner groups and LEPS, and help us use the information collected on your behalf to make positive changes in your community. By participating in LEPS as an individual or a member of one of our partner stewardship groups, you can add your voice to other concerned citizens. This helps ensure the detailed information collected by LEPS is used in better land and water use planning, fish habitat enhancement and educational initiatives.
Opportunities for volunteers include:
- Community Outreach: Working alongside staff at community events
- Stormdrain Marking: Paint yellow fish on the street drains
- Invasive Species Removal: Control invasive plants in our parks and near watercourses
- Demonstration Garden ProjectsGarden beautification, art projects, organic gardening, compost fun and more
