The Township of Langley and LEPS is proud to present the 171h annual WaterWeeks Festival. WaterWeeks is an annual series of environmentally related activities that encourage residents of all ages to participate in the protection and enhancement of our environment. This year’s events will take place from September 23 to October 13. The community will be presented with a sequence of activities designed to encourage community involvement and environmental stewardship by directing attention to important local and global environmental issues.

LANGLEY BC RIVERS DAY FESTIVAL
Celebrate WaterWeeks in Langley, starting off with the Langley BC Rivers Day Community Festival. The festival takes place at the Derek Doubleday Arboretum (21200 Block Fraser Highway) on Sunday September 23, 2018 between 11 am and 3 pm.
In 2017, over 3,000 people came out to celebrate BC Rivers Day. The organizers work hard to ensure that BC Rivers Day is as entertaining and educational as possible, strongly encouraging participants to conduct engaging activities and offer fun, informative activities and booths that focus on local environmental issues.
Featuring a live musical performances by Bobs and LoLo, Tony Prophet and the TaDa Lady, FREE organic hotdog BBQ, interactive displays and activity booths including the EcoDome, costume parade, wildlife displays, bird feeder building, gold panning, climbing wall and so much more!
